Executive Officer

Cynthia currently serves as Executive Officer, Public Contact, and a Classroom / On-The-Water Instructor for America’s Boating Club – Golden Isles. She is also the Porthole Newsletter Editor, helping keep the community informed with local boating updates and club activities.

A dedicated educator and leader, Cynthia brings years of real-world boating experience combined with expertise in leadership, instructional design, and technical program management. She is a recipient of the 2025 Charles F. Chapman Award for Excellence in Teaching, awarded by America’s Boating Club.

As an instructor, Cynthia integrates academic teaching, engineering management, maritime science, and on-the-water experience to create a confidence-building learning environment that prepares students for real-world boating.
