Assistant Education Officer

Jerry currently serves as the Assistant Education Officer and a Classroom Instructor for America’s Boating Club – Golden Isles, and is a former Squadron Commander. He brings decades of senior-level engineering, leadership, and operational experience to our club.

His career spans defense, academia, and advanced technical systems, giving him a rare ability to translate complex concepts into clear, practical understanding. He holds a PhD in Experimental Psychology from the University of Connecticut, a background that strengthens his ability to teach, analyze human decision-making, and design effective training environments.

Jerry has also held senior academic leadership roles as Dean at Eastern Connecticut State University and University of New Haven , further reinforcing his depth of instructional and organizational experience.
